Well having spent most of the morning cleaning I have now decided that I need to make several more resolutions. The trouble is, there might end up being a list of about 70 at this rate. I think I need a reboot and new year is always a good time to do this despite what all the content starved newspapers will tell you. I shall probably spend much of the next couple of days taking stock, looking back, and making strong resolute statements about the future which will entirely fail, but I enjoy it so I shall continue.
I saw in the papers today that Cabinet documents have been released that reveal that Margaret Thatcher was a power crazed evil racist Bastard. Whatever next? Will they hit us with the revelation that the sun comes up in the morning, and that fish swim in the water? Rather depressingly, I noticed that many comments on websites were saying things like “We miss her” and “We could do with her today”. For the love of all that is sane, why would we need another war mongering old git? We have been blessed with far too many of them lately.
Anyway...I shall be back on with resolutions etc. very soon
