We gave in to our exhaustion today, and left the house in a bit of a tip, slobbed in the lounge and generally did very little. Youngest went to a Baptism/Party in the afternoon, and eldest went to see Jimmy Carr in the evening. We hung out with Luke in the afternoon, and he made us laugh so much. There are some people who just make you feel happy to be round, and he is one of them. After he left, I watched my beloved Spurs getting thrashed 4-0 by Fulham, but the tiredness just added to the surreal nature of their awfulness, Well, that and the red wine. We tucked into a take away curry in the evening, and I watched a film called "Once" which was gentle and appealing. A nice end to a very busy few weeks.
