So the big day has arrived apparently. Some people that we have never met, and we probably never will, are getting married and I have to feel proud. I detest the Royal family in every way. I will not waste any more of my life in ranting on about them, but today I really despaired for a country that expresses its so called national pride in a celebration of undemocratic cock waving of the most distasteful kind.

I directed some Shakespeare tonight...it was so thoroughly thrilling for me, and seeing the cast begin to really get it was such an exciting electric experience for me. If nothing else, I hope this lives with them for a long time.
