The glorious weather continues, and my work continues also. Been good to spend some time with eldest, and we had fun last night as I introduced her to the delights of Kill Bill Vols 1 & 2, which I never tire of watching. I suspect that this is in no small part to the incision of Uma Thurman, who is adorable, both in looks and talent. We have Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown to go in order to have completed her Tarantino badge and make her a fully fledged fan. I LOVE good dialogue on films, and I think it is why I struggle to enjoy much cinema. I think that dialogue comes out second best on cinematography and special effects. This is why I love Tarantino so much. The conversational aspects of his films are genuinely laugh out loud funny or captivating or both. In other news, I found a mouse hanging from te bird feeder this evening. I should clarify that this was not some rodent based suicide, but rather an acrobatic display of greed designed to purloin the birds peanuts. I administered a shovel, but narrowly missed the little bugger. More news as and when it happens.
