Well happy new year an all that jazz. I awoke from my slumber at a healthy 11 ish. We had a quiet night in for New Year with no guests (Other than youngest's friend for a sleepover). I drank a lot of Port, and we watched Hootenanny, which I rather enjoyed. Today was spent mainly recovering. Eldest arrived at Lunchtime from her party, and went to bed for the day. I am not making resolutions this year. I have found in the past that they tend to lead me, rather than me leading them. After all....who sets these silly boundaries? Having said all that, I still get that feeling of making a fresh start at New Year, which I find quite invigorating. Myself and eldest have kind of made a resolution anyway. We decided over Christmas that we had spent too much time being unsociable, and that we need to make more contact with people in the new year. We will see how that works out for us in the coming months
