Saturday 16th April

We had to get up early today as we had a man coming in to do one or two running repairs etc on the house.  This also meant that we had a fairly tidy house, which is always a good feeling.  I am now happily tucked away in my office, and feeling good about it.  There is a mountain of paperwork that needs to be put away or shredded, but I am going to attempt to do a little each day rather than stressing about it.  I also have to get myself organised to get my assignments done and dusted next week.  I have just myself and eldest to worry about for a few days, and I intend on getting myself all organised and ready for it.  We have some drama and art workshops to plan for Monday and Tuesday, which is good, although I think I'd just got used to doing nothing at home!  Perhaps this little reminder of work will be good for me!   We have decided that we are going out to see Richard Herring tomorrow.  He is my favourite comedian at the moment, and I hope that the girls enjoy it too.  The evening was spent watching the FA Cup Semi Final between the two Manchester clubs, and then watching a few arty programmes and the Piers Morgan Interview with Russell Brand.  I just about managed to watch it without wanting to kill Piers Morgan, but it was a close run thing.
